Class: 81
Level: LTW
Craftsmanship: 2606
Control: 2457
CP: 507
Recipe Name: Luncheon Toad Leather
Recipe Level: 82
Solver Seed: (Look at the top of the Execution Log on the Solver page) Unable (see below)

Expected Behaviour

Expected behavior would be ability to click Reset, then Start after using this previously for level 82 Weaver making Almasty Surge.

Actual Behaviour

Solve button dark - initial guess included the level 82 ability Careful Synthesis. But because the leatherworker is 81, does not have this ability, the page won't function. You would have to edit the previous solution and remove that step with 82 Careful Synth in order to attempt to re-use the solver. Reloading the page does not work. Obviously, deleting the cookie and setting it up fresh would, but this is cumbersome and not the desired behavior.

Steps To Reproduce

Load up 82 Weaver, abilities guaranteed by level
Create solution with almasty surge, use Blood Bouillabaisse HQ to get to 100%

Load up 81 Leatherworker, abilities guaranteed by level
Attempt to create solution for Luncheon Toad Leather

Related issue with Careful Synth lv. 62, have been unable to get it to run lower than level 62 as it wants that. Then when I get the Careful Synth upgrade, it fails again because the lv. 62 is gone as far as the garunteed by level knows as it's replaced with the new version.

Yea, the way to fix this is to clear out the Initial Guess to nothing by going to the Simulator tab, or hitting "Edit Result in Simulator", hit "Edit" in the right side, and then "Clear". Then you should be able to go back to the Solver tab and have it have nothing in the Initial Guess, which will work with any class/level.

As I recall, the solver will just generate a random Initial Guess if it's given nothing, so it still works fine.

If Initial Guess wasn't a bit useful for refining hard recipes, I'd look into just killing it, but for now we probably just need to see if there's a way to get it to treat "invalid" initial guesses as empty?

What would you want it to do in this case?

I just wanted it to remove the ones I don't have when I hit "start", which should work if I don't have the actions. I have it working now, but it definitely wasn't behaving how I expected. When the initial guess can't be done, you can't hit the start button so you have to go the long way round for it.
