I noticed that 100% of the 54 mobile home samples in a 4 county region of PA in ResStock 2024.2 have in-unit washers and dryers. This felt wrong to me, so I dug in. Looking at the current develop branch of ResStock (not what was used for 2024.2) I am seeing coarsening rules that combine MH and MF for the clothes washer presence tsv. However, looking at the probability distributions, mobile homes' distribution of clothes washer presence does not look like the MF distribution. The below is a histogram of in-unit clothes washer probability for non-zero buckets (not weighted).
Not sure exactly what is going on but I think we should look into it.
