MultiMC settings
Multimc Settings are where you can change things about the application and global settings (like java install and memory settings)
Here you can set whether or not you want MultiMC to check for updates when it starts, & choose what channel to check for updates from. There are currently three channels to choose from Stable, Development, & Unstable.
Here you can set the locations for Instances, Mods, LWJGL, & Icons. Please note that all of these folders are used, for example forge is downloaded to the mods folder.
This here allows you to change what language MultiMC is in, the default for it is English.
You can sort your instances by last launched or by thier name.
Here you can select the icon theme of MultiMC, here are the current ones

IOS
Here you can set the set when the Minecraft console is showing & whether to automatically close the console when the game closes/crashes.
You can change how the texts in the console look, there is even some text there for you to see what it looks like.
