App sometimes hang?

I checked this out and it is currently running well on my raspberry 3. Problem is sometimes it just hangs. I cannot use the mouse or press the num lock or caps lock (indicating that it does not listen to the keyboard either). Nothing works. I have then to restart the device. This can happen at any time, either if I am recognizing a lot or just letting it run idle.

Is this known?
