cant run start.sh

So i just cloned the repository and i run start.sh with ./start.sh and it outputs:
MCBES not found
Downloads can be found at https://github.com/mcbes/mcbes/releases
What do i do!

MCBES is currently in a abandoned state and it doesn't work at all.
