I've had two runs ended by the red soul walls. The first one required Mandragora, but my randomized Mandragora soul would scream once, then just fall off the screen. it never exploded, so no damage and no opening the wall. I ended up passing that one because I had Succubus and I used the teleport backstab glitch. I didn't record the seed so I don't know what that was to report it.

This time, the middle wall requires Homonculus, which I have. But I guess it's hitbox is small, so it just runs into the wall and vanishes before it can deal damage.

Seed is StellarRagingRycuda. The spoiler log says the Tower Key is in Demon Guest House (event). I don't remember getting the Arikado scene, so I'm assuming it's behind that wall. The one unexplored map tile in the bottom-middle there is nothing. I checked it after taking the screenshot.

The issue seems to be that the Homunculus and Persephone sprites are horizontally flipped compared to each other. If the randomizer corrected that when randomizing sprites it should be able to hit.

Oh, so the hitbox for it is where it would be for Persephone, which is never going to touch the wall. Makes sense.

I'm sorry I don't have screenshots or a seed, but any idea why a randomized Mandragora wouldn't go off? Maybe the explosion only happens once the sprite's full animation plays and that might take too long for it to happen on screen?

Perhaps. Unless you remember what sprite Mandragora got swapped with I won't be able to confirm that or fix it though.
