There are a few different frameworks being considered within the Rubin Observatory Project to compute metrics related to science verification and validation. It might be useful to have a tutorial notebook to show how one would add a new metric to one of these frameworks.

This project could build upon concepts in the verify_demo.ipynb notebook.
