I kept getting a dead kernel when trying to run the notebooks in JuMPTutorials.jl. After trying various suggested remedies like rebuilding IJulia, I noticed that there was a Manifest.toml included with the notebooks, and that by removing this I was able to run everything fine. I've tried this for Julia 1.4.2 on both Windows 10 and Ubuntu 20.04.
I think the Troubleshooting section of the README should be updated to mention this as something to check for. Also related: #925 & #928
