I am not sure if this is the best place/way to ask this, but I have noticed a recent (December 19-20, 2024) surge in spam proposals. These all have the same format, with similarly constructed dRep names as proposers, latin-language spam content (lorem-ipsum-style) and links which lead to non-existent URLs.
Are you aware of this? Although not problematic for Governance itself, this activity detracts attention from the many real proposals there, by cluttering the proposals page and pushing all older proposals further down the list.
I cannot think of a solution that does not require moderation, which is probably highly inefficient and also anti-democratic. Just thought I would bring it to your attention.
Thank you, Stef
