Add a tab to the main gui or to the script scanner that has buttons to configure the parameters for standard experiments and runs them. For example:

  • take Rabi flop on carrier and on rsb to measure temperature
  • optimize Doppler cooling
  • sit on rabi flop at a certain time (to optimize a parameter)

A general way to accomplish this might be to load an .ini file from an experiment that has run and saved parameteres in a .ini file with keys .. The .ini files with "good" settings can then be managed by the end user of script scanner as they see fit. The gui button on script scanner could be "load parameters from .ini", or "load parameters".
