widgets unresponsive when trying to interact with them

I've noticed that after a short time (within a few hours) of adding widgets to my home screen, the widgets freeze and refuse to sync. This occurred for the first time alongside my initial report and continues through today.

I haven't changed any settings for the app or phone, i cleared the app's storage data, and switched between battery being "optimized" and "unrestricted" - all to result in no changes and continued widget glitching.

With the app installed, logged in, and even left open but on the "Home" screen: After a small frame of time when the widgets do respond, within hours they become completely unresponsive and no longer sync to what's in the app. If I reopen the app and add, delete, or mark complete a task - the app updates like normal but the widgets do not update and remain unresponsive. This is for all the widgets, as well

i was unable to reproduce the issue but logging it here in case there are any solutions/others who are experiencing the same thing.
