Hi. This could be an issue with the RPI on the Playstation that isn't well performing above 5.05+ and does cause also some timeout issues. You got lucky not hitting the timeout issue. Just to clarify, this is not an Issue with the Sender Application. But luckly Sistro is working on a GoldHen Embeeded Version that will work with the Remote Package Sender v2 natively, so on the next Update this issue will be handled completely. Unfortunatelly the best you can do for now is to restart the RPI (Close the App and reopen it on the Playstation) after a bigger Game install. Technically reason simplified: RPI (ps4) gets confused and tend to break down and behave unexpected. |
Hey, thanks for the reply. Unfortunately though, no matter how many times I restarted RPI, it seemed to do nothing. I found a way to essentially do the same thing for the time being by using the ItemzFlow app and WinNsfd for the time being until I am able to successfully use the sender and installer once again |
You can also use HB-Store-CDN-Server to install your PKGs on your PS4. That uses another method to install the Games that doesn't rely on the RPI internal services and does indeed work better. Is has pros and cons of course but at least I hope that can help you to get started. I hope we will have soon an update that solves all this hussle. Can you share your FW Version? |
Just for the logs, so I can check indeep. Which FW and GoldHen Version are you using? |
When I first used this app, it seemed to work just fine after transferring 2 games but then every game after that has had a decent speed and then when it gets near the end, I randomly get an ETA of 40k days and my PS4 says it can't install the game. The decent speed thing I mentioned a second ago has suddenly gotten slower too. it went from 1-2 minutes to 5-6 minutes for files of roughly the same size.
Edit: I should mention that the method I was using was through ethernet
