No support for split PKGs (Merge PKGs and Installl Request)

Does this support split pkgs or do I have to merge them first.?

Modded Warfare in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4s2DsP9Ulk4 specifically says you can use the Remote PKG installer to install a split PKG. Did he misspeak or am I just doing it wrong?

I can install single PKGs just fine. But if I try to install a split PKG I just get Timeout errors.

Noone tried Split PKGs before. Give it a try and see if it gets started installing.
But I doubt it will work as the internal install method requires you to have a full merged working PKG.

On the right Top you can Open the PS API Window, check the content of it. It will show you the exact response from the PS4 in this case. It might fall under due differet reasons, maybe it doesn't accept Split PKG at all and does nothing and therefore it just don't respond to the request at all and times out.

There will be maybe an Feature in the future to download, merge and install PKG Updates directly from Sony.
But ItemzFlow does that already, so no need to duplicate work here.

Itemzflow only works with game updates. You cannot download full games and DLC with it.

I think MW was talking about Game Updates in the Video you linked.
WIth HB-Store you can spin up your own HB-Store CDN Server and use that as an alternative to install Games and DLC's.

But in both cases I remember you must have your fPKGs merged.
For fPKG updates it requires you to have the updates that are build for the base fPKG - as far I know.

I'm talking about retail split PKGs I already downloaded. It would b nice to not have to manually merge them. The video I linked MW specifically said you can use this app to install spilt pkgs. That's why I opened this ticket because I couldn't get it to work.

Unfortunatelly I won't have time to build the merge functionality inside the app anytime soon.
Yeah you can do it, but you have to merge it manually before you send the final PKG.

I can keep this as a Task for on my ToDo but I am not sure how many users want this feature?
