Not able to delete Suggestions

Hi, I've at the moment more than 2 Mil suggestions, and the loading time is excruciating. Adding to this, sometimes it crashes probably because DB timeout.

I tried to delete the Suggestions via Administer page, but either Delete All nor Delete with "filters" leave the Suggestions available.

I suspect that the deletion as well is going timeout, but no error message is shown.
I don't have access to DB, because my EPI is on PaaS.

Adding to this, the lack of a message box to confirm the deletion is quite scaring, considering how close the "Delete Suggestions" and "Delete Redirects" are.
