  • Pressing either of Right or Left will also stop playback.
• Transform Tools : Added O shortcut to cycle through the orientation modes.

Fixes

• Reference : Fixed bug reloading a Reference after changing the number of points in a SplinePlug. The complete edited spline is now maintained across a reload. If the spline has not been edited, then the value is updated from the .grf file as before (Gaffer.Reference.load issue with SplinePlugs when having a mismatching number of Interpolation Points #5170).
• DispatchDialogue : Fixed AttributeError: '__Implementation' object has no attribute 'message' error.
• Catalogue : Fixed errors caused by empty image selections.
• MultiLineStringPlugValueWidget : Fixed bug handling Esc.
• PathListingWidget : Fixed issue with columns set to automatically stretch not resizing if column headers are hidden.
• Viewer : Fixed bugs which could prevent an object from being updated if its computation was previously interrupted.

Hello, I was building the lastest Gaffer from the git repo and found that CubicBasis.constant() was not declared in ../include/IECore/CubicBasis.h. I have also downloaded the pre-built latest gaffer from your website and i see this line is present in the source code there but missing from the git repo:

"Constant" is missing from the StandardCubicBasis enum

CubicBasis.h is part of Cortex, so it will be in that repository instead of Gaffer : https://github.com/ImageEngine/cortex

Which version of Gaffer dependencies and Cortex are you building with?

The constant() mode was added to Cortex in 10.4.2.0 so you'll need at least that version. Gaffer 1.2.x uses Cortex 10.4.7.0 at the moment, so that's probably your best bet. If you download from that release, it will have all the dependencies needed to build Gaffer.

oh of course, I used the ./config/installDependencies.sh command described in your README. which looks to have used this download url: https://github.com/GafferHQ/dependencies/releases/download/5.0.0a5/gafferDependencies-5.0.0a5-Python3-linux.tar.gz" which i do see is not the latest... I will update that, thank you!

Ah yeah, it could be a little clearer description of which dependencies to get. I'll make a note to look at it.

I actually see this latest dependencies 6.0.0 does not include these specific changes from cortex still. I can build cortex on its own if thats something that needs to be updated on your side??

Try this release from Cortex : https://github.com/ImageEngine/cortex/releases/download/10.4.7.0/cortex-10.4.7.0-linux-python3.tar.gz (or for Windows)

Because the full dependencies package can take a while to build, we sometimes advance Cortex a little faster than the dependencies package. The best reference for building is what the Github Actions workflow does : https://github.com/GafferHQ/gaffer/blob/main/.github/workflows/main.yml.

That's what is used to build incremental progress as well as the releases so it's always up to date. You can also use a different installation script that will accept a URL : https://github.com/GafferHQ/gaffer/blob/main/.github/workflows/main/installDependencies.py

Or you can just download that Cortex release and extract it, that's pretty much what the installation script does.
