Add a notification for updating for admin users

One of the issues we run into is not keeping up with updates. It'd be nice if there was a notification for updates, especially if there are high or medium security issues that are resolved?

It'd be nice to see if there are updated versions, or as described above, some sort of in-app notification for available updates, maybe with configurable granularity.

Currently, I have to manually keep track of the releases, and it is very easy to fall behind.
