FPP Backup is not working

FPP Version and Hardware: FPP v8.4.2 (v8.4 branch) on two different controllers. 2 K32's and 1 PI

Describe the bug and Steps to reproduce:

1. Go to Status/Control
2. Click on FPP Backup
3. Click Download Configuration

Expected behavior:
Json downloads

Additional context:
Only 1 of my controllers allows me to download the backups. Under FPP Download there are no existing backups displayed. Clicking on 'Download Configuration' will either load a blank page or throw error. Manually POSTing the backup API results in error.
