Story Maps Series App with embedded apps (Basic Viewer) did not work

When viewing a Story Map Series that includes embedded "Basic Viewer" applications with an iOS browser on a mobile device, the tabs have trouble loading and the widget buttons do not activate.

I already reported this issue to Esri Support and it was addressed as "BUG-000091616". But the support representative said me that I should also report this issue to GitHub.

Sorry for your issue and thanks for your feedback.

It turns out, the issue is half in Map Series and half in Basic Viewer. The issue in Map Series was already known (#10) and will be fixed with our next release that is planned for next Wednesday. The issue in Basic will have to wait our February release.

After the release next Wednesday, the Basic Viewer will not bleed over the bottom panel like it is doing today but the Basic app will still be unresponsive.

The embedded basic viewer is still frozen as of today.
