Search Box "Search All Sources" not searching all sources.

The search box configuration settings allow the user to check the "Search All Sources" box. The app then adds the "All" option but it's not possible to default to the "All" category. The default is still the "Default Source" and there's no way to choose "All" in that configuration setting.
