epubgen2 produces error codes in place of content

When attempting to generate .epub files [Divino Afflatu rubrics, for 2023-2024] with the Docker method (On a Mac, if that makes a difference), it generates epubs with an error message in place of the content.
The error messages:

“This page contains the following errors:error on line 37 at column 5: Extra content at the end of the document
Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.”

“Software error:
Undefined subroutine &horas::setvrbar called at /var/www/standalone/tools/epubgen2/../../../web/cgi-bin/horas/horas.pl line 188.

For help, please send mail to this site's webmaster, giving this error message
and the time and date of the error.”

It was a lot for me to figure out how to navigate the terminal, so this is something beyond me to fix. Perhaps someone here can help me out with this?
