"Favourite/Star" series on list

Problem:
I'm currently have around 400~ unread series, and the series I'm really looking forward to get lost in said list. Tagging or using separate categories doesn't seem like the right way to go about filtering these series.

Solution:
Current idea is to add a star/favourite button, probably under the "more info" dropdown. Series like this may have a slightly different row CSS to differentiate them.
By default these series would be pushed to the top of the list but would still follow the set sorting format. This functionality should be able to turned off via options.

Semi-unrelated, but the site does have an existing Favorites list that can be accessed by clicking on your account in the upper right and selecting "Favorties". It lets you favorite individual chapters/page of a series you're already tracking, but due to how it's accessed and how it's kind of "separated" from the main application, I don't know how many people actually use this feature or know it even exists (maybe rework this system?).

As a workaround until it's implemented, you could possibly favorite the first chapter of all the series you want to keep track of and then visit your Favorites list, but the downside is you still need to check each series on that list manually, and if you have a lot of favorite series, it'll probably take even longer to do so than scanning the unread entries would.
