I mainly write midi plugins. Would be great if we could capture midi output to check the results.

Thanks for lightening fast response! I am not experienced enough with GitHub to know how to pull your PR change into my local repo to build it. My repo is currently just a clone from the main plugalyzer branch. How can I pull this intended change into a local repo to build it and try it?

Either use git switch vstpreset or go to https://github.com/CrushedPixel/Plugalyzer/tree/vstpreset and download the .zip from there.
