Moondeck and Apollo #252
Comments
You need to add an app in Apollo named MoonDeckStream, with the command set to "MoonDeckStream.exe" |
Maybe it's more of a problem with the MoondeckStream plugin than with Apollo, but with Sunshine it worked perfectly for me and from what I've seen, Apollo has worked fine with Moondeck for most people without having to do any extra configuration. |
Make sure MoonDeck see the same IP of your host with Moonlight |
Yes, if I go to host settings it tells me the IP of my pc. in fact, buddy commands like WOL work correctly. It seems to me that it acts like I haven't added the MoonDeckStream because for some reason it can't access the apps configured in Apollo. In fact, if I click on the "Sync Sunshine Apps" option, it gives me the error "Failes to get gamestream app list" |
WOL does not need IP address to work, it only needs the MAC address of your host. Launching MoonDeckStream does not relate to sync apps. You need to configure MoonDeckBuddy to read from Apollo's install dir, otherwise it'll try to find Sunshine's location. Do you have multiple versions of Moonlight installed and maybe MoonDeck is using another one that you haven't paired? |
I have the same problem I read in another thread, but I haven't found any solution looking for the all issues.
I want to use Apollo, and I uninstalled sunshine and installed Apollo and reconfigured MoonDeck in my Steam Deck Oled to use of it.
But I can't do this work. If I start from Moonlight works fine, but Moondeck gives me this error:
I tried restarting confs and forgetting and reading host but any of these actions seems to be a solution.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
