According to Lifehacker, you can report spam messages to most providers (MVNOs too). The process may be slightly different between carriers, but generally, it's:
Forward the message you've received to 7746 (SPAM)
When you get a reply, you'll have instructions to send the spammer's number to 7746
You'll get a thank you reply, and a warm-fuzzy feeling that you're saving the planet (or not)
Where GravityBox comes in:
The process, while not too difficult, isn't widely known and therefore doesn't work as well as say Gmail's spam filtering. GravityBox is probably the most installed Xposed module, so adding in a menu here:
