Zabbix Server 5.0.7

Zabbix Agent 5.0.9

Debian 10

Copied the userparameter_cputemp.conf into /etc/zabbix/zabbix_agentd.d/

Template has been linked to the host. I also tested the commands in the userparameter config file which work 100%

EDIT: Seems like it is an Unsupported item key

basicCPUTemp-Unsupported

Not sure if you ever solved it, but I just implemented it as is on my zabbix 6.0 server and debian 11 (proxmox) and it works just fine :-), just so you know.

I like it, plain simple.

Thank you, I have not tried it again since posting this

Guess I'll give it another go on Zabbix 6

@styxadmin Any luck? I have implemented it today and no data is being pulled.

the File userparameter_cputemp.conf causes the Zabbix Agent to fail and will not start whilst it exists

Was able to solve this issue by changing the grep Core in the userparams file to match what I found from running sensors.

In my case, running sensors returns:

root@goliath:~# sensors
gigabyte_wmi-virtual-0
Adapter: Virtual device
temp1: +50.0°C
temp2: +55.0°C
temp3: +66.0°C
temp4: +21.0°C
temp5: +54.0°C
temp6: +54.0°C

acpitz-acpi-0
Adapter: ACPI interface
temp1: +16.8°C (crit = +20.8°C)
temp2: +16.8°C (crit = +20.8°C)

k10temp-pci-00c3
Adapter: PCI adapter
Tctl: +66.1°C
Tccd1: +65.2°C
Tccd2: +60.0°C

In the above, the CPU temperature is reported under k10temp-pci-00c3 as Tctl, Tccd1, and Tccd2, which all start with a T so I changed the grep Core to grep T. After restarting zabbix_agent2, I could start to see data.
