For anyone willing to try the RC, it can be installed via

dotnet tool update Microsoft.DataApiBuilder -g --prerelease

at any time you need to go back to the stable version, just uninstall the pre-release version

dotnet tool uninstall Microsoft.DataApiBuilder -g 

and install the current release

dotnet tool install Microsoft.DataApiBuilder -g
