I don't know if this is even in the domain of the plugin, or a Maya general thing, but I would be very interested in having USD lights integrated into the "Light Editor" interface. As someone who does lots of factory/office/arch layouts, having control over lights in the light editor was a huge boost to productivity. I can imagine a few ways to use USD opinion layers to achieve what I'm trying to do (toggle sets of lights on/off, turn on/off the renderability of sets of lights), but those workarounds are definitely not as fast as using the native editor.
As a side note I am using VRAY USD lights, but this doesn't seem to work for USD referenced Maya lights either.
