PicoPrint

PicoPrint is a 32-bit 3D printer control board, designed to be fast, quiet, and compact.

PicoPrint is still in active development, and some specifications are not yet finalised. Once the design has been finalised, this page will be updated with detailed information.

      • 5V from USB is fused (200mA self-resetting PTC) to protect host device
      • 5V Buck Regulator implements overcurrent, overtemperature, and short-circuit protection
      • 3.3V Linear Regulator implements overcurrent and overtemperature protection
      • Main power input can be monitored by ADC channel to measure input voltage (firmware dependent)
    • Microcontroller Pin Protection
      • Dedicated ESD-protection IC on USB interface
      • Thermistors + Endstops + Z-Probe protected against accidental connection to ±30V by diode clipping circuit
        • Endstops are safe to use with 5/12/24V signals if desired
