1. Environment

Version: 0.10.1
Device: Xiaomi 2201123G
System: Android 14 (API 34)
OS: Lineage OS 21-20241014-UNOFFICIAL-cupid

2. Describe the bug

I can select text (long-press anywhere) and change what's selected as usual, but I can't cancel out of the selection. Usually I can just press the text anywhere and it would deselect, but this doesn't always seem to work.

To reproduce, toggle between the text and content modes (not sure how they're officially called) using the bottom-right button in the reader view.
