Core dumped during or after embed MD5 digest #1181
Comments
Please retry on Ubuntu LTS and see whether that makes any difference. Thanks for reporting! |
Did you build appimagetool yourself? If so, please try one of the officially provided AppImages. Thanks! |
Tested on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS guest, use appimagetool-i686.appimage. Still core dump during or after embed MD5 digest (not sure which one):
The appimagetool-i686.appimage is downloaded from release 13 on the release page of this repo. |
Can you please retry with the latest https://github.com/AppImage/type2-runtime/releases/tag/continuous build? If you want to try: Thanks for retesting. |
Tested on Ubuntu 16 32bit using a 2.2GB file, still got a coredump on "Embedding MD5 digest". |
I don't think we enabled glibc's largefile support for 32-bit architectures. |
@TheAssassin could we do it? |
