OS: Arch Linux 32 as guest OS in QEMU virtual machine
Size of the content need to be packaged: 6.6 GiB

Tested on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS guest, use appimagetool-i686.appimage. Still core dump during or after embed MD5 digest (not sure which one):

We have changed a lot there.

Tested on Ubuntu 16 32bit using a 2.2GB file, still got a coredump on "Embedding MD5 digest".

I don't think we enabled glibc's largefile support for 32-bit architectures.
