Mac M4 Pro - UVR won't open (any version)

Recently upgraded to an M4 Pro and tried running UVR for the first time - the app won't open, no crashlog or error message is produced, the app just bounces in the dock a couple of times and then the bouncing stops without opening

Tried the latest Roformer beta for Mac and that also doesn't run. I have removed all xattrs ("xattr -r -c") on the app but still get the same result. Is there something about the M4 Pro specifically that is making the app crash perhaps?

Not sure whether any logs are even being generated since there's no error message, but let me know if there's anything I should look for.
