There are two ways to do non-TET music in MIDI:

  1. Remap the MIDI note numbers in the instrument, and
  2. Send nearest MIDI note number and a pitch bend to the instrument.

Microtonal plugins / standalone apps / DAWs can do both, so we need to as well.
