How do I adjust subtitle position? #369
Comments
|
I think they're embedded? But I'm not sure how to tell. Please forgive my ignorance here. I only have a single .mkv video file - no other files are being used. All I know is that they can be enabled and disabled - here's what they look like: According to the options I'm using the internal subtitle renderer; pretty much everything is at default settings as far as I know. Basically, I just wanted to move them down a few pixels into the letterboxing if that was possible. |
It looks like the "Override Placement" setting conflicts with the "Screen Alignment && Margins" and "Position subtitles relative to the video frame" settings. |
Upload sample file and show what's settings you change. |
Did you change the track after applying the style changes? I noticed MPC-BE resets the styles you set, after you change the tracks. |
Since there has been no response from the issue author for a long time, I will close it tomorrow. |
I've tried the "override placement" option as well as changing the default style, and neither of these two things seem to have any effect on the subtitles (I'm trying to change their position). What might be going on here? Do the subtitles have to be external in order to be manipulated? The video in question only has one video file but the subtitles can be enabled/disabled.
At any rate, how might I accomplish this?
