I cannot migrate my .flr to .riv #324

I need remove flare lib by my project, but I cannot migrate my .flr to .riv
I try this https://help.rive.app/getting-started/faq-1/importing-rive-1-files, but I recieved error.

You can import .flr2d files (but not .flr files) into Rive by dragging a .flr2d file into a Rive file that is already open in the Rive editor.

@ir4ever I was stuck at the same problem and figured it out now:

  • in Flare, you need to use the "Download file" option, which downloads the .flr2d file mentioned in the migration docs

  • in Rive, for me it didn't work to just drag&drop the file into the file overview. Instead, i needed to create a New File and when having it open, drag&drop the .flr2d file into it
  • Now I was able to export it as .riv file. The artboard had a grey background, but that is easily removable.
