2TB M.2 for DS923+

I have DS923+ with 4x 2TB HDD WD Gold RAID6
And would like to extend space about 2TB M.2
Could you recommend me some optimal budget drive?
Will installing 2 TB M.2 maintain RAID6?

Installing a M.2 volume won't affect your RAID6 storage pool or volume. DSM treats them as completely separate storage pools/volumes.

For a M.2 volume I use WD Black or Phison SPCC NVMe drives. People have had issues with cheap Chinese brand NVMe drives and Crucial NVMe drives.

Could I buy 2 pieces x 1TB. One for cache, secund as additional volume ?

Yes, you can use one NVMe drive as a read cache and the 2nd one as a volume.
